Its design is superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It was able capture sand, small gravel and even a bit of grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tried that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to create a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do it all.

Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near an electrical outlet and plenty of room for it to move around however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The sleek G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It has a larger dust bin that doesn't require as much emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
